Wander Alley Breaks Ground, Launching a New Urban Destination in BSD City

September 17, 2025

Construction is officially underway for Wander Alley, a dynamic new alfresco retail and urban hangout place designed by SIURA Studio.

On September 17, our team joined our valued client, Sinar Mas Land, to celebrate the groundbreaking of this landmark project set to redefine the community experience at the heart of the TOD Intermoda transit hub. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter for urban life in BSD City.

Designing for Discovery

Wander Alley is conceived as more than just a place to shop or dine; it is a destination where daily commutes meet discovery. Our masterplan is inspired by the vibrant energy of iconic streets in Japan and Korea, creating a journey through a series of interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces. The design prioritizes the pedestrian experience, weaving together plazas, playgrounds, and communal event spaces to foster a sense of exploration and community interaction in a fresh, open-air setting.

This project serves as a catalyst for the broader 25-hectare TOD Intermoda development. By seamlessly integrating with the Cisauk train station and the BSD Link bus terminal, our design transforms a point of transit into a vibrant destination. It is a thoughtful response to the growing trend of alfresco retail, creating a human-scaled environment that serves commuters, local residents, and visitors alike.

“Wander Alley is about the experience between the buildings. We wanted to create a place that feels alive, where every turn reveals something new. It’s a landscape designed for people on the move, transforming the daily commute into a journey of discovery and connection.” – Anton Siura, SIURA Studio

Set to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, Wander Alley will feature 39 retail units designed for a diverse mix of restaurants, cafes, and unique businesses. We are incredibly proud to partner with Sinar Mas Land to bring this forward-thinking vision to life, creating a purposeful and engaging new heart for the BSD City community.
